This gesture could be offensive in Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Slavic cultures, Bulgaria, Japan (Middle finger is more masculine, and this one is more feminine, and used to mean sex in Japan). It is also not as common in many of these countries any more, but avoid this gesture, while traveling to these countries.
